The documentary showcases both moments of fulfillment and joy, as well as the most difficult and poignant: her battle with lung cancer, the loss of her daughter Rocío, and her intense relationship with Pepe Sancho. Through a close and respectful lens, the camera accompanies María in her daily life, revealing previously unseen aspects of her existence as she reflects on her personal and professional journey with the honesty that always defined her.

As the camera operator, my role was to capture that constant duality between fragility and strength, between the artist and the woman, constructing an image that breathes emotion, truth, and dignity. With its meticulous aesthetic and sensitive narrative, the series becomes an essential tribute to a unique figure in Spanish art and culture.
