Maratonman is much more than a running program: it’s a journey around the world through the eyes, the effort, and the stories of extraordinary people. Each episode takes us to remote and vibrant places—from the plains of Africa to the highlands of South America—to discover how sport becomes a way of life and a path to self-improvement.
As a cameraman, I’ve had the privilege of being part of this journey, experiencing every step behind the lens, and capturing not only the movement but also the emotion that beats within each story.
My work isn’t limited to following a race; it’s about observing with empathy, translating into images the connection between physical exertion and the inner strength of each protagonist.
Each destination is a visual and human lesson: the light, the landscape, and the faces of the runners speak volumes, just like words. In every shoot, we seek that unique approach that gives meaning to the format, that perspective that transforms a sports story into an intimate portrait of the human soul.
Traveling with Maratonman is an experience that transcends the professional; it’s a way of understanding the world. Every encounter, every glance, every kilometer covered with the camera on my shoulder becomes a testament to empathy, admiration, and respect for those who run not only to reach the finish line, but to demonstrate that true victory lies in persevering.
