Far from the studio, the format combined conversation and travel, allowing the participants to reveal themselves in a relatable and sincere way. Through routes across rural, mountainous, or coastal landscapes, Chicote guided the conversations toward reflections on life, success, identity, and the passage of time. Landscape photography became an essential narrative element, reinforcing the connection between the environment and emotions. With its meticulous aesthetic and intimate tone, Fuera de Mapa offered a different perspective on fame and authenticity. Participating in the project as a camera operator was an inspiring experience that united visual beauty, profound conversation, and the natural landscape.
