Capturing those moments—the emotion, the laughter, the exhaustion, the discovery—was one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had behind a lens.
As a drone pilot, I had the opportunity to show from the air the immensity of the glaciers, the contrasts of ice and lava, the living pulse of a nature that also spoke to us of climate change. From the sky, the images took on a symbolic meaning: those young people who had conquered adversity were walking now on a land that is also struggling to survive.
